Furniture Store Memories

Today I was remembering my first trip to the store. It was over 10 years ago now. Perhaps they were less discovered than they are today. But I remember making the 45 minute drive. There were less furniture stores than there are today. Now there are like 3 within 45 minutes. But not so back then. I was in awe of all the options. So much furniture. Such great prices. The only issue was that I bought more than would really fit in my car. I had to put all sorts of stuff on the roof. We made it home thought. Just driving really slowly.

What is the deal with the Ikia furniture store? This is a place that I only recently began to shop at. And I must say they are absolutely a cool place to shop. I have found all sorts of stuff there that I never knew they sold.

Their prices are completely awesome. I don't believe there is a better deal available anywhere else for home furniture of this kind. I was able to find stuff for my kitchen there. There was a ton of bathroom stuff.

When it comes to a home office, I found many items at the ikia furniture store that I thought were perfect for my office. Desks. Chairs. Computer desks. File drawers. You name it. They had it.



Now. You are not getting the top brand names or best construction quality. But you need to expect that at a discount place. If you want solid wood items, you will have to pay thousands. However, if you want to get a desk for under $300, this is the place. And the thing that's awesome is that it just doesn't look cheap. The price and the style just don't line up - and that's cool.
